Learing objectives         : Pupils should be able to know the different types of materials around us.

Learning Outcomes       : At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:-

1.     identify the differet types of materials around us.

2.     classify the different types of materials around us.

Scientific Skills             : Making inferences, attributing and generating ideas

Thinking Skills               : Analyzing, evaluating and making conclusion, generating ideas, relating and

Introduce the topic by asking roleplay a pupil.

-       metal spoon

1. Teacher introduces the topic to be learnt by asking a pupil to break a plastics spoon and a metal spoon.
2. Teacher asks other pupils to observe the result.
3. Later teacher discuss with the pupils about their opinion.

1.     Teacher asks the pupils to list some materials in the classroom.
2.     Then teacher ask the pupils about the objects made of.






1.     Later teacher show a PowerPoint presentation.
2.     Then teacher discuss with the pupils about the materials.

Conclusion
- Things around us are made by different kind of materials.

1.     Teacher divides the pupils into 6 groups.
2.     Teacher will paste a picture of a room in the white board.
3.     Each group has to list the objects that they could see in the picture.
4.     Later they have to state the objects made of.
5.     The group that has finishes early and got all correct will be consider as winner.

1.     Teacher asks pupils some question randomly.
2.     The pupils who could answer the question correctly will get myterious gift.
