Learing objectives         : Pupils should be able to know that an object is made from different types of

Learning Outcomes       : At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:-

1.     list objects and the materials that they are made of

2.     give reason why particular materials are used to make an object.

Model / Method             : 5-Needham constructivism model, discussion and problem solving

Scientific Skills             : Making inferences, attributing and generating ideas

Thinking Skills               : Analyzing, evaluating and making conclusion, generating ideas, relating and

                                         comparing

Previous Knowledge      :  Pupils already known the properties of materials in previous lesson.

2.     Teacher will give the gift to the pupils who score the highest mark.

Conclusion
- Different materials can be used to make an object.


1.     Teacher divides the pupils into 6 groups.
2.     Teacher have quiz in the classroom.
3.     Teacher will ask each group a question, the pupils have to discuss among their group members and answer the questions.
4.     If they cannot answer the question the question will given to other teams to answer.
5.     The group who answer correctly will get 2 marks whereas the group helps other group to answer will get 1 mark.


1.     Teacher asks the pupils about today’s lesson overall.
2.     Then teacher gave a worksheet as homework to the pupils.

2.     At the same time, teacher explains more about it by using real objects.
3.     Meanwhile teacher ask the pupils opinion about why the objects is made from this kind of materials.
4.     Then teacher discuss the pupils answer.

- Different materials can be used to make an object.


1.     Teacher divides the pupils into 6 groups.
2.     In 7 minutes, the pupils have to draw and label as many objects as they can that been used in their home or school.
3.     They have to state the properties of materials and the uses.
4.     After 7 minutes the paper will be collect.
5.     The group which has listed many objects correctly will be considering as a winner.
6.     The paper collected will be compiled and make as a scrab book for the references of the pupils.
