Learing objectives         : Pupils should be able to know that an object is made from different types of

  materials.

1.     list objects and the materials that they are made of

2.     give reason why particular materials are used to make an object.

Eliciting of ideas  (10 minutes) Reconstructing of  ideas (25 minutes)	To identify pupil’s prior knowledge about combined uses of materials.           Question : 1)     What is the made of these things? 2)     Why it’s made from such materials? Modify pupil’s prior knowledge about combined uses of materials by showing a slide show presentation. Powerpoint presentation   Content :- 1) Types of materials - leather - wood - metal - glass - fabric 2) Examples objects Ι) Torch light # Properties -       glass -       plastics # Uses -       To see the light -       Didn’t conduct electricity.	1.     Teacher paste some picture on the black board. 2.     Then teacher ask some pupils to state the made of the objects.          1.     Teacher show a Power Point presentation about the combined uses of materials. 2.     At the same time, teacher explains more about it by using real objects. 3.     Meanwhile teacher ask the pupils opinion about why the objects is made from this kind of materials. 4.     Then teacher discuss the pupils answer. Application of ideas (15 minutes) Reflection (10 minutes)	To relate the lesson combined uses of materials in our daily life.   Conclusion - Different materials can be used to make an object.	1.     Teacher divides the pupils into 6 groups. 2.     In 7 minutes, the pupils have to draw and label as many objects as they can that been used in their home or school. 3.     They have to state the properties of materials and the uses. 4.     After 7 minutes the paper will be collect. 5.     The group which has listed many objects correctly will be considering as a winner. 6.     The paper collected will be compiled and make as a scrab book for the references of the pupils. 1.     Teacher asks the pupils about today’s lesson overall. 2.     Then teacher gave an worksheet as a homework to the pupils.
